Patrick's Story
Patrick was always uncomfortable with eye contact. He also had a short attention span and was slow to process information. When we would ask him a question, we became increasingly aware that it would take at least ten seconds for his brain to register it. We could see his wheels turning, but he wasn't saying anything.
